Your cancer was treated. You weren’t.

ABOUT ME
I know what it costs to feel this way because I've lived it and felt it all.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 47 and thrown into treatment-induced menopause with almost no support. I spent six years pushing against closed doors, flat no's, and a medical system that treated my cancer but not what came after.
Six years. It should not take six years.
That experience is the foundation of everything I do. Not adjacent to my authority here, it is my authority.
I'm not a doctor. What I am is a specialist support provider with 15 years in women's health, cancer wellness training, and deep knowledge of the current evidence landscape. I co-authored research on menopause depression published in the ANZ Journal of Psychiatry. I gave evidence at the Australian Senate Inquiry into Perimenopause and Menopause. I've spent years building clinical relationships with menopause-informed, cancer-aware doctors — so you don't have to start from scratch.
But the most important thing I bring to this work is that I sat exactly where you're sitting. And I know what's possible on the other side.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
Yes, if…
You're navigating menopause during or after cancer treatment
You've been dismissed, given a flat "no," or left without real answers
You've been told, or assumed, that HRT isn't an option for you
You want to understand your options properly before your next appointment
You're done figuring this out alone
This isn't the right fit if you're looking for medical diagnosis, prescription, or psychological therapy, though I can point you toward the right people.
Are you ready to take the first step but still not sure where to start? The Navigate Handbook is a printable guide that helps you map your symptoms, understand your situation, and walk into your next appointment ready — get it here.

Speaking with Sonya has been nothing short of transformative. She is incredibly well-informed and articulate, bringing a depth of understanding about hormone replacement therapy after cancer treatment that far exceeded what I received from the three doctors and specialists I had consulted prior. With 'Sonya in my pocket,' I feel energised and confident to continue advocating for my own health and wellbeing. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking compassionate, well-researched support on their post-cancer journey.

FAQ
A few things people often ask
-
No, and I want to be completely upfront about that. I'm a specialist support provider with lived experience of menopause after cancer, 15 years in women's health and fitness, cancer wellness training, and deep knowledge of the current evidence landscape. I complement your medical care, I don't replace it.
-
Yes. You don't have to wait until treatment ends. Many women find it helpful to get support and information during treatment so they feel prepared for what comes next.
-
Absolutely. If your treatment may lead to an induced menopause this support is designed for you to ask your questions and be prepared early.
-
This is one of the most common things women come to me with. A flat "no" without explanation or a proper conversation isn't good enough, and in many cases, it's not the whole picture.
I can help you understand the current evidence, explore your options, and prepare for a more informed conversation with your medical team.
Every woman deserves that conversation.
-
Absolutely. The consultation is available to women anywhere in the world. If you're outside Australia, you'll leave with the most current research and evidence specific to your situation, the exact questions to ask your medical team, and the preparation to walk into any appointment, anywhere in the world, and advocate for yourself with confidence.
The referral to my personal doctor network is available to Australian women only, but the outcomes for international women are no less powerful. -
Please do. Get in touch below and I'll get back to you personally.
